Refreshments served The Organizing Game Speaker: Trudie Davis-Long, Editor, Instructor, Author/Writer Currently in print is Annotated life and Times James Lantz, Carroll County, Maryland 1857-1891 and Abstract of the Wills and Estate Records of Granville County, NC 1833-1845. FRECOGS newsletter editor (12+ years). Trudie also teaches family research classes for the Historical Society of Frederick Co., Maryland. Part one will take a look at the standard rules for starting a genealogy project. Part two, like the song "Name Game" where any name can rhyme, presents a basic plan that allows you to organize anything. It will require you to use either a table in a word processing, a database, or a spreadsheet program. Setting a project up on paper is possible but will be burdensome, like trying to do a book index without a computer.
