Lois, A friend of mine's maiden name was ROWAN. I read your e-mail querie and she seemed to recall the names of Bridget, Catherine, etc. She said she will look into this, and if I find anything concrete I will e-mail you. She does not have a computer. She is from Mt. Lake Park which is just adjacent to Oakland.
