Hi Gang, I have not made much progress since 2006 on my Thrashers.  A couple of things that did turn up is that my gg grandparents, James Thrasher and Elizabeth Robison married and lived in Frankfort, VA (now Fort Ashby, W. VA) - from the 1860 census.  James died in about 1868 and Elizabeth married John Waxler. Can anyone enlighten me?  Would also like to know why my gg grandfather died at an early age... Civil War wounds?
