I could not find either of these on WorldCat (the database that shows you library catalogs from all around the country and abroad), but I did find The Kelly-Springfield Story, by Kenneth A Jackson and Gerald N Hess (279 pages!), which might be helpful. A number of libraries have it, particularly in Maryland, so you might be able to get it on interlibrary loan.
