    3. Hi all - what's the best way to get a hold of 1904 issues of the Cumberland Evening TImes?  I've noticed that neither ancestry.com nor newspaperarchive.com has the year 1904 in its database.  I'm looking for a story in late August or early September 1904 about a train accident near Bloomington, MD/Westernport/Piedmont/Luke -- on the 17-mile grade over there.  Do I need to go to Frostburg State library?  Thanks for any suggestions. ________________________________ From: Carol Nida <cnida@comcast.net> To: mdallega@rootsweb.com Sent: Tue, August 31, 2010 12:03:26 PM Subject: Re: [MDALLEGA] 1883 List of pensioners on the roll ... - Google Books Thank you for the link Ruth.  Unfortunately did not find any of mine, but it is a great resource to know about. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to MDALLEGA-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. I have read the Times & Alleganian and the Cumberland Times as far back as 1841 on Microfilm and printed the pages at Enoch Pratt Library in Baltimore. That is the only place I know that has papers back that far for the Cumberland area. You might also inquire at Ort Library in Frostburg at the University there. But I know they are at Enoch Pratt..
