I have found some info on a couple of Jacob Winters on Ancestry.com, mostly from other trees, but some documentation too.    Jacob Winter Birth: 15 Dec 1789 in Washington, Maryland, United States Death: 7 Sep 1872 in Lonaconing, Allegany, Maryland, United States Parents:  George Winter  (1765 – 1825) and Anna Marie Klemm  Married: Sarah Shriver (1792 – 1859) on 10 Sep 1811 I believe they had about 12 kids, one of which was also called Jacob (1829 – 1903). I guess he was my brother-in-law's uncle's ggrandfather. Something like that. Sue
