    3. My g-g-grandfather moved his Valentine family from Cumberland to Turtle Creek in the 1900's. I'm not sure why they moved because the family had always been farmers according to the census. Ironically he and his wife are buried in Rosehill Cemetery in Cumberland. Someone in the family returned them to Cumberland when they passed away. ----- Original Message ----- From: "ekrichardson1" <ekrichardson1@bellsouth.net> To: <MDALLEGA@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, October 15, 2010 5:40 AM Subject: Re: [MDALLEGA] Allegany move to PA My husband's entire Richardson family moved from Frostburg to Turtle Creek in the 1910's. The family story is that there had been so many accidents in the mines that they wanted to start a different line of work. They were working at Westinghouse Airbrake, also. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to MDALLEGA-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
