    3. THE EVENING TIMES, Cumberland, MD - Thursday - March 18, 1909 - Page 2 THE SAINT'S DAY IN FROSTBURG An Irish Drama Finely Presented Last Night. The Irishmen and their descendants celebrated St. Patrick's Day in a fitting manner here yesterday and the shamrock and bits of green ribbon were very much in evidence. At 8 o'clock in the evening a large audience witnessed the production of the Irish drama, "Shannon Boys," at the Frostburg Opera House. The scene of the play is laid in Ireland and the plot, which is a most beautiful and interesting one, was brought out in the work of the different characters, Rev. Joseph P. Nolan, Messrs. M. P. Grant, Bernard Hughes, Misses Marie Dundon, and Nellie Johns and Tom Flanagan & Co., introduced some good specialties. The singing of Rev. Joseph P. Nolan was highly appreciated by the audience. The entertainment was one of the best given by local talent here this season.
