Since you are so new to genealogy I will let you know that a daughter is sometimes very hard to locate. Especially, if she was 15 in 1880. The 1890 census records burned for all 48 states very little was saved and that census would have made her 25 and then the 1990 census she would have been 35. Unless you know who she married a woman can sometimes be a dead-end or "Brick Wall" as we call it in genealogy. Some early marriage records are available for the state of Maryland but sparse and spotty. Try this site to find a girl with that surname. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mdallegh/ Check all the county resources you can find on this site. Don't overlook the adjoining county's of Garrett and Washington, also across into the PA and WV counties. And good luck to you in your research. I've been doing it 20 years and I'm still not finished. I am a grandson of Silas Warnick and am just beginning my search of this family. Silas had a daughter Nancy. She was reported as being 15 years old at the time of the 1880 Census. I can't find anything about her after that time. Does anyone on this list have any information about her? Any help would be appreciated.
