(or wherever) areas, can email them directly to me for posting on OurBrickWalls.com. Just send to GenieRagan@msn.com<mailto:GenieRagan@msn.com> You can send transcriptions or scan and send the articles and I'll transcribe them or post as is, it makes no difference to me. I'm happy to post anything at all that you think may be connected to our families. The more posted, the more info out there. Funeral cards, obits, burials, birth/marriage/death notices, divorce, murders or big happenings (major fires/floods etc.) that occurred in the area are all welcome. This is our site, for our families and what happened to them. Don't be shy. Copyright and embarrassment to others are the only restrictions I have to posting something. So if I get an article that tells about one of ours being a convicted child predator, I probably won't post that, it would be hurtful to others. But if he got arrested for moonshining, or arrested for something else and found NOT GUILTY, well that's not so bad, and it will probably get posted. We've got real close to about 10k obits posted already, thanks to our wonderful transcribers/contributors and still have plenty of room left. Don't forget that if you want updates (weekly) on new articles and obits, to send me an email so I can add you to the list, and spread the word to your genealogy buddies/family. I know everyone doesn't have the time to check all the time to see "Whassup" and things do get posted mostly every day. With the updates, you can see if anything is of interest to you, without going to the site and wasting time. NOTE: the updates come from my personal email, not from an outside program, so you won't have your email address going anywhere else. The updates are sent BCC, so no one else sees who is getting the updates. You don't think about it, but, if everyone sent in just the two or four obits for their immediate family, we'd have all the area covered and all the info would be out there for everyone to have, for free.
