    3. First thanks to those who responded to my question on St. Luke's cemetery. Unfortunately I had no luck. I have a second favor to ask. I had a copy of the adoption record of John Hanft. I recall it dating 1848 in the Allegany court proceedings 1840 to 1852. Can anyone help me obtain another copy with reordering the film from LDS. Thanks, Vince Rollman Researching: Rollman, Hanft, Hesse or Hessen, Stranzel

    3. I am trying to find any information on the Dufty family that left England and settled in Allegany County. Edward was born c 1835 in Gloucestershire, he married a widow Emma Hart and they had several children. I believe Edward appears in a book The History of Allegany County. Any help would be much appreciated. Nicky

    3. Hi Erin I haven't made much headway on my Richard Morgan either. Any idea where yours went to Church when in Pillowell? My Morgans went to St. James Bream - I have a few records from there. I have been able to locate only two Richard Morgans in the US Census records - neither married to a Sarah at the time of the census, neither had sons Henry or Harry. Just a note I do have a brother Isaac for my Richard and Theophilus who married a Sarah Ann and had a son Henry in about 1848 +/- but I have not started looking for his line yet so that is all the info I have on them. Don't know if this helps - what else do you know about your Richard? Theresa
