Price was found guilty of the murder of Sallie Dean last Thursday, after a trial lasting three days. The case was tried in Denton before Judges Wickes and Stump. After the State had produced its evidence the counsel for the defense let the matter rest, and the court found Price guilty of the murder in the first degree and sentenced him to be hung. Judge Wickes pronounced sentence Friday morning. When asked if he had anything to say Price maintained that he was innocent. Millard F.
