I am searching for the parents of Meredith/Meridia Collins born about 1760 , not sure just where. Meredith joined McDaniel's Fincastle Co. militia 1776 w/ 3 other Collins men, George, David, & Lewis. I am also curious about Walkersville as WALKER is a middle name handed down in the family and so far I have found no Walkers in the family. I have searched Virginia and North Carolina for the parents w/o any luck.
