Dear Friends: If you live in the Frederick County area and have an interest in family history or genealogy, I know you will be pleased to learn about an upcoming three-day family history event called "Unlocking Your Past." An enthusiastic group of family history buffs has recruited a truly distinguished panel of thirteen regional authors, historians, educators, geneologists, curators and experienced family history researchers to participate in an three-day event which is open free to the public. There will be 13 presentations daily on each day of the event, there will also be several videos presentations, live demonstrations, numerous exhibits, and free light refreshments. The dates for the event are: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 6th, 7th and 8th; so please take a moment to visit our website at: www.home.earthlink.net/~unlocking-your-past Don't overlook the buttons for website pages 2, 3 and 4, they're way down at the bottom of the home page, and kinda easy to miss. If you would like to print any of the website pages, do not try to select or highlight any of the text. Just pull down the FILE tab, click on PRINT, and set your printer to make a fast black and white draft copy of the whole page. If you do this, the text will come out black on a white background like a normal page.
