Re: I do have 1 question for you and ALL here. I've never heard of the Getzendanner Cemetery - by chance, do you or anyone on this list know exactly where this cemetery is located? I haven't run into that one "yet". Dear Chrystie, The Getzendanner (Farm) Cemetery is on the grounds of the VFW Golf Course along the Golden Mile (Rt. 40) in Frederick, MD. Christian Getzendanner was a very early settler in Fred. Co and owned much of the land around the cemetery and the Fredericktown Mall and even down into Mt. Phillip Road I believe. It is a very nicely kept, small cemetery with a fence. Many of the graves are unmarked, although there are some fieldstones in place that don't have names anymore or never did. There are some stones that are very legible. Any help you can give me with your Hoffman connections is VERY much appreciated. Cindy Hoffman
