Candi, Thanks for your response to my query on Caspar MIER/MYER, my friendly ghost. There were other Casp(e)r MYER/MOYER/MIER/MEIER'S in the greater PA area; Tulpehoken had at least (1); there was 1 Casper MIER whom arrived in 1827 with 2 brothers but lived more mid-west in PA. There are a few that show up in old Greene County, Tennessee "pre-1800" which at that time was actually part of Kentucky and North Carolina and for 2 years fell under the "Lost State of Franklin", later to become what is today known as Greene, Washington and parts of Jefferson Co., TN. I do find a Casper MIER whom I really want to believe is "him" arriving on the ship HARLE with family who's names "fit perfectly, but this was in 1727. My Caspar MIER/MYER signs in for his lot (3) of Tasker's Chance as early as 1724 but did take the "oath and reformed in 1727" in Frederick, and though I could totally believe this is a "different Caspar", it's possible he either made several trips across the Atlanta, buying land, setting up stakes and bringing back his family "or" he could have purchased the land in England from Holland where I believe he originated from, after his father Johannes Caspar MEIER/MIER left Germany or should I say "fled" OR the land purchase is wrong, and it is he that is on the Ship HARLE. That part is probably going to prove more easier for me to figure out, the records are there, but his burial is edging on my last nerve here, though I don't give up so easily. I'd say it was pointless but these lines from Frederick-Town/Old Monocacy Maryland left a lot of records behind, between land, church and wills. It just makes sense, that at the very least, his son Christopher would have left "something" notating his death and burial. Seriously, I stood in the middle of the street in downtown Frederick not 1 month back and declared that I was probably standing over him as I spoke these words, "Where are you buried Caspar MIER"! "Give me a sign"! I looked up. And what did I see... A stop sign! ..;) P.S.
