My absolute sure information on the Hipkins family starts with: ggf and ggm: Charles David Hipkins, b. 18 Dec 1818. On Lisbon, Howard county 1880census. On 1884,5,6 Howard County poll book. Married 18 Dec 1853 to Mary Ann Clarke. Died 16 Feb 1902. Buried in Hyattstown, MD Methodist Cem with wife and son Tom. Mother may have been Mary Ridgely. of Hampton Estate Ridgelys. father ? Hipkins. Mary Ann Clarke, ggm, b. 11 June 1827, Pr. George County. Died 31 Jan 1910, buried with husband in Hyattstown. Parents: Daniel Clarke and Mary Ann Duval I have info on their children to add.
