And I vaguely remember a very long swinging rope bridge. This would be sometime in the 1950's when I was a kid. I remember crossing it and being quite scared during the crossing. There's not much there, at least there wasn't the last time I was there. I used to spend time there every summer when I was a kid. It's basically a one road town with the train station at one end and Camp Kanawa Fish and Gun Club at the other. It is on the Potomac River. _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com ==== MD-FRED-GEN Mailing List ==== Come on over to the Maryland Roots Network at: http://midatlantic.rootsweb.com/MD/ ============================== To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
