Hi Nick, Yes, I have a very large database of Main's. Since this is my maiden name it was the first surname I took on. Somewhere down the line I came across a gentleman by the name of Glenn Main in MD which was doing nothing but acquiring names and no research involved and finally got so "screwed" up that his work is not reliable. So, if you run across this gentleman in your travels, be ware. He even had the nerve to call my Mother to see if she was still alive. My work is not on the web because I tried to put my Main line on Roots, but I'm to dumb to do it. And then a lot of health problems have dumped on me and I've considered hanging up my genie hat. But that bug is hard to recover from. I'll get back in touch with you later. By the way, I think that Samuel Bowden is the correct one, which means he serviced his wife.
