    3. June, I have only been researching the Main family for 14 years but I have been researching energetically. Do you have your research on the Main family posted on the Internet? My most recent information is posted at Worldconnect.Rootsweb.com. You can search by name or if you want to go directly to my database type in "ncimino" in the database field. You can look at a list of my surnames there. I have lots of Frederick county surnames in my database so I encourage everyone on the list to take a look at the information there. Please send me any additions or corrections with your name and contact information for future reference. June-- Lets talk after you have had a look at my database. I would like to compile a database of all of the descendants of the Frederick County Main families and I could sure use your help. First of all I do not have anything on Samuel Bowden, except that he married Susanna Main d/o of John George Main Jr. & Catherine (Main). She was born 30 Sep 1776 in Fred Co MD. Christened 6 Nov 1776 at the German Reformed Church at Middletwon Fred Co MD. She died 9 Jun 1844 in IL. You have the marriage date, but my reason for sending you this is to tell you of my notes on Susanna which I've relayed to you above, except, Susanna moved to Ohio in the fall of 1841 with the Robert McFarland family. You could assume from this that Samuel was deceased by this time, or he went along with her and maybe more of the family. I will check my sources on the McFarland family as to where they went in Ohio if you are interested. Nice hearing from you. Hope some of this helps. June On Tue, 10 Dec 2002 10:47:16 -0800 "Sydney H.
