Did you try to contact the Norfolk Virginian-Pilot newspaper, to see if Lois Berentsen's obit ran in the paper that year? Since you know her deathdate, it shouldn't be too hard. I think they have an online archive, but I'm not sure how far back it goes. The addresses (at least towns or cities) for her survivors might be listed, including the ones you're having trouble finding. David
David, I did get the obit from the Norfolk Virginian-Pilot newspaper online. I wrote to the funeral home who was in charge of services and got the names of the next of kin. Now I need to find Christine B. or Anna White. Christine was listed as a daughter and Anna a grandaughter. There was an address for Anna in Brunswick, MD. I mailed a letter off to her today and will wait to see if she still lives at the address after nearly 10 years. Thanks, Pam DayvidA@aol.com wrote:Did you try to contact the Norfolk Virginian-Pilot newspaper, to see if Lois Berentsen's obit ran in the paper that year?
