    3. Hello Frank, I use Microsoft Digital Image and it will view many, many types of image files. The .tiff is used to keep the original in good format. You can convert your tiff to a jpg or whatever you want to convert it to. Someone mentioned ACDsee and that is also a good program and cheaper than the Microsoft digital image. By the way, what part of Baltimore are these CD's for. What would you sell a copy of the CD's for? Some of my ancestors lived in Baltimore before they came into Washington DC. Anyway good luck with your CD's. I certainly would not pay a company to convert the images. If you can afford to put some money into a program that is you best bet. There are many out there and some are cheaper than others. I love my Microsoft Digital Image but I also used ADCsee from the time it came out to about a couple of years ago.
