Ancestry.com has a 1890 Baltimore City directory online. Here are the entries for ALBIKER: Mrs Annie Albiker 2 Stinson Annie C Albiker 1911 Ramsay grocer Annie F Albiker 436 Smallwood grocer Chas H Albiker 54 Garrison Lane tripe Martin F Albiker 1911 Ramsay driver I also found a Charles C. Albiker as the 19 yr old son of John in the 1900 census in Ancestry.com. Charles is listed as having a step sister, Lilly Nunenthal, and step brother, Julius Nunenthal, so it appears that Sarah, the listed wife, was a second marriage since they were reportedly married only 12 years. In the 1870 census, I found what is probably John as a teenager listed under Albecher, the son of Salmon (sp?) and Caroline, from Baden and Bavaria/Bayern, respectively. I have not found them in the 1880 census.
