Hi Rose, It sure does help!!! Thank you very much. I checked the later Census for Prendergast family and the location of St. Bridget Catholic Church. It looks as though it is very possible that my Prendergast could have belonged to St. Bridget church. My gr-grandmother Frances Winifred Prendergast was the first to be born in USA ca 1850 from Ireland. Her Baptism could have been held there at St. Bridget church. I will check with them. I have tried several other Irish congregation parishes but they have closed. One of the Prendergast sons ---John/Patrick , I believe, married an Annie O"Donnell. She was deceased in 1910 census but her mother & sisters were still living with Prendergast This find gives me a new possible source for information.
