The September meeting of the Baltimore County Genealogical Society will be held on Sunday 24 September 2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at our headquarters on the 3rd floor at 8601 Harford Road, Parkville. The Library is open from Noon till 2:00 p.m. The Computer Genealogy Interest Group meets from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The speaker, Lorna Duane Smith -"Rx GENEALOGY and pass it around". This presentation hopes to inject new life into our Family History Research by exploring the symptoms of our "research addiction" and prescribing methods for exciting and satisfying results. Lorna Duane Smith has been collecting ancestors for 25 years. An author, teacher, musician, past president of the Howard County Genealogical Society, Duane has devised exciting methods of sharing her research with the entire family.
