There are a lot of possibilities here but the top two are: 1. Locate a record of burial from the church. Depending on the denomination and time frame, you might find all of your answers. 2. Find an obituary (not the death notice!) If you provide a little more detail, such as residence, cemetery, denomination, etc a lot more specific suggestions could be made.
