Hello all, I copied the index of names in the St. Brigid baptism register for the years 1858- 1866. The first page on my microfilm is too light to read, so there are no names starting with A or B. Some of the writing is very hard to read, so some names may be wrong. Hope it helps someone. Ellwood Avenue: record book 1858-1866; baptismal registers 1858-1929, 1953-1978; marriages 1858-1881, 1901-1978; confirmations 1860-1865, 1888-1978; first communions 1858-1865, 1888-1943, 1944-1978; deaths 1901-1978. Collection History: St. Bridget's Church, dedicated in 1855, was in the newsly developed Canton area of the city. Catholics in this section were originally under the aegis of St. Patrick, whose rector, Father Thomas Dolan, was instrumental in the establishment of the new parish.
