Even if someone died intestate, there should be Orphans Court records and possibly Administrative Accounts. Those records may indicate who received the proceeds from the sale of the house. Also, the Maryland Assessments and Taxation website would list when the house was sold, with the deed book and page, and the price. You may find all the heirs listed on the deed. I am trying to locate a property in Baltimore City that belonged to my mothers Aunt and family up until the death of the last family member. The family are as follows Thomas K Doyle born Ireland Mary ann (Annie ) Doyle nee Madden born Co Roscommon Ireland children Mary Margaret Doyle born Baltimore Maryland Sarah Ann Doyle born Baltimore Maryland John J Doyle born Baltimore Maryland The family lived at 429 East Lafayette St Baltimore City Maryland in 1930 The last surviving member of the family Sarah A Doyle was unmarried and died intestate in 1999 and was living in Baltimore City. I have her SSDI number and would like some advice as to how I can obtain further information on her and the family . I do know there were relatives on the Doyle side in the US and other family membersin the UK and Australia on the Madden side who inherited from the estate. Anyone familiar with Baltimore City and probate etc have any suggestions as to where I might be able to find more information.I would hate to think that all personal effects including possible photos etc would have been discarded. Any help would be greatly appreciated TIA Marion( Australia) PS any reply from persons who may have a connection to this family in the US would be welcome
