Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.maryland.counties.baltimorecity/7402.1.2.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Donna, If you have a list of "suspects" you can contact the school and I'm sure they would look it up for you. They have an alumnae relations rep on staff - I believe her name is Christy Urban. Their number is 410-744-8498 or you could e-mail her at curban@mountdesales.org There probably weren't a lot of graduates - until the late 70's, Mount de Sales classes were small - so they could probably even give you a list of graduates. If you have not heard of Mount de Sales, check out their web page at www.mountdesales.org and make sure you click on "school information" and then 'history.' There was even a book published a few years back for the 15oth anniversay - An Academy of Every Virtue, which is how it was advertised. The schools you mentioned, are all newcomers - the only Baltimore girl school approaching MDS in history is Institute of Notre Dame on Asquith St. I think attending the school is what got me interested in local history. I could ramble on forever, I was privileged to graduate from there in the early 70's while the original Visitation order was still there - and while Fr. Duerr (known as the 2nd founder) was principal. You can be sure whoever went there in the 30s got a first class education and was very happy there. Anne Marie
