I have a pendant for some kind of fraternity with a chapter somewhere in Baltimore. The man who belonged to this club was named Charles S. West. He lived on Erdman Ave in Baltimore City with his wife Nellie in 1930. He was listed as a necktie designer on the census. The frat pendant has red, white, and blue enamel coloring against a gold plated shield. There is a tent, a cornicopia, a set of weights, swords, two people in gowns adorning the design. The letters (acronym) FLC of SH also appear on the pendant. Does anyone have any idea in regards to the fraternity association? Thanks in advance for any help. -Donna

    3. I checked my 1936 Baltimore City Directory under Clubs, Fraternities and even Men's Clothing categories and found nothing that would match the initials you listed. My directory has a Charles S. West with wife Etta at 3019 Erdman Ave. He is listed as a cutter. -----Original Message----- From: md-baltimorecity-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:md-baltimorecity-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of donna.carter@millenniumchem.com Sent: Saturday, December 02, 2006 4:25 PM To: MD-BaltimoreCity-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [MD-BALTIMORECITY] Baltimore Fraternities in existence around1930-1940s This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
