He was George Wagner, born in Baltimore in 1855-56. I have his father as Herman Wagner, mother as Anna (Ziegenfelder)there are several variations on spelling! He had an older sister, Jennie. His mother was said to die when he was born and he and his sister went to live with an aunt and uncle in Iowa, George and Jane Glick. The familys were supposed to have come from Germany, but can't prove that either. Can anyone help with this?? Thank you.
