    3. I think i would go with what she said besides she was the one who supplied the information to social security administration. They could easily have misread or misunderstood in some way. Maybe you need to get her birth certificate but unless a birth document supplies a different maiden name I would put more faith in what my mother said. Social security is full of mistakes.
