I am looking for the births of children of John And Effe Jeremiah marr.First Method Episcopal Church Baltimore City,MD 1817. They moved in 1827 to Cinti.,Ohio. The children are :Ann Elizabeth b.1818 Martha W. b.18?? Robert b.27 SEP1823 I believe since John is in the Baltimore City Census until they moved, that the children were probably baptized in the same Church as he was married in. Euphemiah(Effe)was born in Baltimore City 8DEC1800.Her parents were Robert and Ann(maiden name I do not have) The Methodist Recorder of Baltimore City,MD lists Effe Jeremiah removed in 1827. Md Archive Online and many many other sites do not go back this far. Does anyone have any tips or does anyone live in Baltimore City? Thanks,Joyce Meyer Cinti.,Ohio _________________________________________________________________ FREE online classifieds from Windows Live Expo buy and sell with people you know http://clk.atdmt.com/MSN/go/msnnkwex0010000001msn/direct/01/?href=http://expo.live.com?s_cid=Hotmail_tagline_12/06

Your best bet might be the Lovely Lane Museum and Archives: http://www.lovelylanemuseum.com/ The LDS have a film of the records of that church [ 13697 Items 3-6 ] , but there are are not may baptisms included. The Maryland Historical Society have more records. There are also 3 books by Henry Peden covering Methodist records in Baltimore. -- Thomas M. Sommers -- tms@nj.net -- AB2SB
