Seymour and Mary E. Goodman had a marriage license issued 4 Oct 1859 in Baltimore. They would be a good candidate for the family you are researching. A quick search on ancestry.com shows a Mary E. Goodman, about 6 years old in the 1850 census in Baltimore living with father Ed C. Goodman, bootmaker, born in MD, and mother, Martha Goodman, also born in MD, along with several siblings.
