Hello, My suggestion is to visit the websites of the public libraries in the towns you are interested in in those states. Generally they will have an email link and you can "Ask a Librarian". Every library is different, but most will be helpful and if they can't find an obit, may have good suggestions. There may be a small fee to cover copying or mailing. My next suggestion is to contact the State Historical Societies or Libraries in those states. They will also usually help, but may charge more. Another source (I haven't used it in awhile, so I'm not even sure it is still going) is RAOGK--google it for more info. You may have mixed results, depending on the volunteers. Good luck.
