Margaret's parents were Frederick Schimminger (unknown birthdate and place) and Margaret Schmidt (b. 1863, d. 1952). Besides their daughter Margaret, Frederick and Margaret had 5 other children - Josephine, Gustav, Frederich, Dina and Gertrude.
