Specifically, I'm trying to find out information about my gg grandfather John Myers who was born @1823. He immigrated to Kent Co., Ontario, Canada in 1849 -- just one year before the 1850 Census,unfortunately. Right now, I'm researching the possibility that my John Myers was the same John Myers who was a member of the congregation of the African Methodist Bethel Church in Baltimore and participated in a suit against the trustees of the the Church as of Jan 31, 1849.
