I did like someone's mention she might be a war correspondent. There is an older Stamey man living in Baltimore at the time, who could be her father. I never found her listed at his address or census. I've sent a couple e-mails to some TN memorial sites for their fallen heros to see if anyone there knows anything. I've gotten one response back, but no real information. I'll have to look for a local newspaper to see if they might be interested in this story, that may be the best chance we have.
