I'm 18 years old and I live in Normandy, France. I'm member of an association named Fleurs de la Mémoire which finds godparents in order to take care of graves located in the American Cemetery, St Laurent-Sur-mer. I take care of two graves, my twin sister and my dad too. Each time we visit the beaches we put flowers near the soldiers's graves. My father sponsor a man named Byron L Goins. We found his family and his photo. It is wonderful. I obtained some documents on him and his service when he was soldier. I have a paper from the Army effects bureau inventory and it seems Byron had a photo on him when he was killed. There are remarks about the photo : "information taken from photo relationship unknown Miss Gevena Stamey 111 W Mulberry Street Baltimore, Md." You'll find this crazy or stupid but I would like to find this woman. She may have been the girlfriend of Byron L Goins. unfortunately I have nor more informations about her. Byron died at the age of 21 I guess she had the same age. Please if you find something, let me know. Thank you in advance.
