Hello John, Thanks so much for the response on this topic posted on Rootsweb. I've seen the jockey stuff in other papers both in Washington DC and New York. I can't seem to place him in the family. Just race results doesn't help me a bit. That person however, in another paper is arrested for grand larceny further down the road. Guess we should stay away from the track, huh? The other stuff both of Lloyd and Margaret I would appreciate. Maybe I can glean something from it. I'm surprised you didn't come across the article about the children being abandoned. I have that one. Someone reported children crying all night and the cops were called only to find nobody home but the kids. They apparently were taken into protective custody and later placed in foster care where at least one was adopted. I'm in touch with that one person. It's Doris A. that's my real interest now. Where can one access marriage records in Baltimore without the ever present wall of confidentiality that appears prevalent! in Maryland? Any thoughts? Again thanks for the help.
