My father was William J DuWors as was his father and grandfather. Like you as far as I have gotten is William born June 18th, 1840 in Maryland and that both his parents were born in France. I have not been able to track further. However in naturalization records I found a William Duwors, born May 9th, 1838 in Germany. He arrived in this country the same year thru the port of Baltimore, Maryland. He was naturalized Feb 28th,1866 in Manchester N.H. Witnesses were George and Francis Moffitt.
