Another researcher of Accomack thinks he was from the Eastern Shore. The census records give Virginia as his birth place. I am guessing that his family were waterman and tended to move up and down the coast. Sarah Bloodsworth Watson with whom he was residing in the 1850 census had roots on Hollands Island in Maryland. Do you have any specific details? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Did you know there is a "basin" along the old street car line from DC to Glen Echo the defunct amusement park. It is call the David Thomas Taylor Basin. And it was as much fun to ride the street car to Glen Echo from DC as to ride some of the rides. That was back in the late 50's. I don't know what's there now but you can check it out on google and maybe they might have pictures. Don't know if it was named for your David Taylor or not.
