Rogers (born abt. 1812 possibly in Portugal) and Eliza Jane, his wife, (born abt. 1810 in MD). 1850 census in Baltimore shows family with children Joseph Kennard Rogers, born abt. 1837, Mary T. born abt. 1838, Eliza A. born abt. 1840, Elizabeth born abt. 1844 and Josephine born abt. 1847. Joseph D., the father, disappears after that including in the city directories so it is assumed he has died. A search of The Sun archives was unsuccessful for an obit as well as looking through various books of transcriptions of obits. Wife Eliza Jane shows up in 1860 census with her family minus husband Joseph. Looking for any additional information on the family particularly the father and daughter Elizabeth who disappears after 1860 (did she marry or die?) and daughter Josephine who disappears after 1870 (also probably married or died).
