She was born 30 July 1829 and died 26 Dec 1911 and her death cert says she was buried in Green Mount Cemetery. Parents are listed as William Skinner and Rebecca Patterson Skinner. The Sun listed the Orem-Skinner marriage for 31 July 1851. Josiah B Orem was a first lieutenant in the Civil War. He died 16 June 1911 and she died 6 months later. Josiah was a carpenter but the census was not more specific than that. His death cert says he was from Dorchester Co but hers only says Maryland (probably was Baltimore) for her. Thanks for the information about the Skinner's shipbuilding company. I had no idea the family owned a shipbuilding business.
