    3. Here's some info that I found on Ancestry.com It appears that Laura Budde was born on 6 Aug 1901 and died Jan 1985. According to the SSDI, her last residence was 21234 Baltimore. Her 1st husband is shown in the 1930 Census as Peter A. Zuronski. He was 37 and she was 28. They had a son, Peter P. Zuronski, who was 6. Peter was a box maker at a can company. They lived at 735 Luzerne Ave., next door to her parents. Peter also served in W.W. I. Name: Peter A Zuromski Race: white Address: 2024 Fountain St., Baltimore Birth Place: Baltimore, Md. Age: 18 yrs 8 mos Comment: RA 7/9/17 pvt, Co L 56 Inf, Hon disch 7/5/19, Overseas 8/2/18 to 6/27/19, Puvenelle Sector Citation: Maryland in the World War 1917-1919 Military and Naval Service Records In Two Volumes and Case of Maps Volume II It appears that Peter died in Bladen Co., North Carolina on 24 June 1934 at age 35. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Walter Rebstock Age: 29 Born: 6 Jul 1887 City: Baltimore State: Maryland Lived at: 105 N. Post (?) Park (?) Employment: Laborer Employer: Emmerson Drug Co. Employer's Add: Eutaw & Lombard Sts. He was married & had a wife & child. He was tall with a medium build, grey eyes & black hair. He registered in the 12th precinct, 6th Ward. According to the 1900 Census, his parents were Charles & Nettie and siblings included: George H. (22), Lottie (19), Ben (18), Harry (17), and Frank (15). Walter was the youngest at age 12 years. His folks were 46 & 45 respectively in 1900. They lived in the 24th Ward. The 1920 Census shows his wife as Lillie and his daughter was Lillian M (4 yrs & 9 mo). His mother-in-law, Lillie Magee (?), aged 57, lived with them. 1930 finds him still married to Lillie, now age 40. Both his m-i-l, Lillie (age 68) and his f-i-l, Robert Magee (age 69) are living with them. Walter also rec'd a draft card for W.W. II. He registered on April 26, 1942. At that time, he lived at 3012 Glendale Ave and was 53 yrs old. It appears that his phone number was CL 0195 and he was still employed at the Emmerson Drug Co located on the corner of Eutaw & Lombard. His wife was Laura. In 1942, he was 5'8" and 208 lbs ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The 1930 Census shows Adam Tyszkiewicz (age 52) as living in Baltimore with his wife Victoria (age 50). Adam is shown as having married her when he was 24 and she was 22. Also living there at the time of the Census was: Eva T (age 23), Joseph L (21), Verna (17) and Rose Orlowska (40). Both were born in Poland abt 1878. Adam worked as a stevedor. Eva was a waitress. Joseph an estimator clerk at a mail order house. And, Verna was a packer at a tin decorating company. It looks like Adam immigrated in 1898. The date for Victoria is unclear. Rose immigrated in 1904. Her employment was as a seamstress in a clothing shop. They resided at 733 Luzerne Ave. Rosalia (Rose) Orlowska entered the US through the port of Baltimore on 21 Jul 1904 at age 17. She departed Europe from Bremen on the ship, Cassel, on 7 Jul 1904. It shows her as Polish, residing in Russia. The ship's manifest shows that she was going to stay with Adam Tyskiewicz. Her town was Mimeskowa (?) Mienershowa (?) **sorry but it's hard to read** Victoria & Adam are shown as having paid for her ticket. In 1904, it appears that they were living at 1726 Alicianna St. (Canton!) Elaine Summerhill -----Original Message----- Had a bit of a quandry. My great grandmother's maiden name is Tyszkiewicz. She married my great grandfather Peter A Zuromski around 1919-1920. They had two sons. Peter P Zuromski (my grandfather) and Albert Leonard Zuromski (my uncle). Peter A Zuromski died in 1934 in North Carolina. She married a Walter Rebstock. Though all I know is that he was in World War I. I do not have marriage date for him or a birth date. Don't know if they had any children either. He died and then she married Herman A.F. Budde. He passed away in 1980. I vaguely remember him. She passed away in 1982. Any information that can be found on my great grandmother would be great. I do know her parents names: Adam Tyszkiewicz and Victoria Orlowska. I know this because during the time my grandmother was living in Baltimore with them, her aunt Rose came to live with them. Rose Orlowska. Laura was born in Poland. Again, I don't know the town.

    3. As far as I know I am not a direct descendant of this Joseph Hupka, but perhaps a collateral relative. This is the one of many Joseph Hupkas/Hubkas whom I believe may be the first cousin of my great grandfather, Anton Hubka, and his half-brother, Jan/John. I believe him to be from Kocin, Kralovice (Kralowitz), Bohemia, Austria-Hungary. This Joseph emigrated from Bremen, Germany, on the SS "Nurnberg," arriving at Balto. in May, 1877, at age 37 with wife, Franziska, 44, and son, Joseph, 9. He died in Baltimore in 1929. The son, Joseph "II", died of TB in the Md. State TB Sanatorium at Hauvers, Frederick Co., MD, in 1920. Since I have not found Joseph and Francis on the 1880 Census (empty nest in 1900), I know of only one other child, Frances, who married Charles Ruby, and had the following children: Anna b. ~1909, mar. Otis Malls William b. ~1915 Henry b. ~ 1920 Albert b. ~1924 I have the Census schedules, some marriage and death records, but not much else. You may email me off-list for further information.
