Coroner Caruthers, of the Northeastern district, last night gave a certificate of death due to natural causes in the case of Mrs. Eleanora Bunce, 44 years old, 1605 St. Joseph street, who died Sunday night under what seemed to be peculiar circumstances. It was thought she had either taken poison herself or it had been given her. 2. linumbienn
    3. I have an ancestor who was listed as a "Foster Child" on the 1900 Census. There must have been some sort of paper work for this child, as MD has such an early history of keeping records. Question: Where might I look, or what agency to call, for information on Foster Children in the 1890's. Is there an "Orphans Court" in MD. as there is in PA.? Any suggestions would be appreciated. 3. Since you have the date you can make the request from the Enoch Pratt Library. [email protected] I think that is the email address. If not maybe someone has the correct one. The ladies there will look it up for you and email it. Or I think for a small fee send you a photo copy.

    3. Cheers from Valerie in sunny Sydney -----Original Message----- From: Valerie Garton [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, 21 September 2010 10:11 AM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: 1810 Baltimore, Maryland census - missing CULLIDONs I have been reading this list and seen a lot of very helpful researchers so I am hoping I may be able to get some help also. I found George CULLIDON & family in the 1800 census in Baltimore City - don't know street address ? >From the directories I have found the following entries: 1800 soap & candle manufacturer, 1802 soap boiler, 1803 soap boiler & candle manufacturer, Conowago Street, Baltimore Town, Maryland 1807-08 grocery & liquor store, 27 Market Space, Baltimore town 1810 liquor store, 27 Market Space, East Side, Baltimore town, Maryland 1812 groceries & liquor store, 17 Harrison Street, Baltimore Town, Maryland 1814 grocer, 17 Harrison Street, Baltimore town, Maryland I am aware that directories are not all that reliable but this does seem that the CULLIDON family was here for at least some of this time. Many thanks for taking the time to read my message. Regards from Valerie in sunny Sydney.
