I see the Brandau name isn't anywhere to be found. Now you have another mystery. I wouldn't pay much attention to the Post Office they were in. I have found from previous research that the Postal areas were huge, often crossed several Election Districts and gave no indication of where they really lived. Go to the Baltimore County USGenWeb site: http://rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mdbaltim/ There's a bibliography of resource material and a listing of bookstores that carry some of those books. Also, there's also a page of some wills that have been contributed to the site. Here's the direct link to the page on how to obtain a copy of a will. http://rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mdbaltim/will_find.htm Also check BA Co. USGenWeb Archives for wills: http://usgwarchives.net/md/baltimore/ I don't think you're going to find a book that has entire wills but only those with abstracts. You can go to a local LDS FHC and check to see which wills they have microfilmed from BA Co. There is also an email list for BA Co. that might be helpful for you: http://lists.rootsweb.ancestry.com/index/usa/MD/baltimore.html#BALTGEN Kathi Jones-Hudson MD Tombstone Transcription Project Manager http://www.usgwtombstones.org/maryland/maryland.html --- On Mon, 2/14/11, Ellie Swanger <[email protected]> wrote: > From: Ellie Swanger <[email protected]> > Subject: [MD-BALTIMORECITY] Baltimore County early wills... > To: [email protected] > Date: Monday, February 14, 2011, 9:33 PM > Can anyone tell me if there is a book > of the early Baltimore Co., wills?
