Hi Pam. I have seen several of your messages of late and have been meaning to send you a note. I work for H&R Block during tax season so my correspondence tends to sit til after tax season - then I have to get into a catch up mode. I know it has been a time since we corresponded and I don't really have anything new on the Drakes. I am still trying to figure out where my own Samuel fits in - I also tie into the NJ Drakes, most likely through Rev John Drake who had 3 wives and about 15 kids. Your William would be the same generation as my Samuel so they were probably cousins of some sort. I just can't get the missing links for one or two generations. One of these days I'll have to get back to NJ to do a bit more research - I've been living in Harrisburg for seven years now. I knew that several Drakes headed west but did not realize that they touched down in MD. I have several MD families from the early years but haven't run across any Drake families as yet. Just wanted to drop a note to say hi and to let you know that other Drakes continue to be frustrated as well. Hope all goes well outside the Drake line.
