George Markle was born prior to 1755 (in MD, PA,?). The Frederick County Maryland deeds for the mid to late 1700's name, George, Nicholas, John, Conrad, William and Adam. George appears to have been in Frederick County by 1775-1786. George died in Frederick County before November 2, 1807 and left behind a widow Juliana and thirteen children: George, David, Daniel, Jacob and John, and daughters Mary, Catherine, Esther, Elizabeth, Magdalene, Susanna, Juliana and Philippina.
