Maryland Calendar of Wills has a will possibly for a Theodore TANNER, made 30 Oct. 1768, Frederick Co., date of proof not listed. The surname is also TANOR & DANNER, & the first name is Te(a)ter & Yeter. Wife Barbara and children Margaret, Mary, David, Catherine, Jacob, Susannah, & Esther. Exs. Geo. SMITH & John McCORKLE. Wit. Nichoel? TANNER, Wm. BLAIR, Reece PHILLIPS. Robert BARNES' MD Marriages, TANNER: Henry, 10 Dec. 1778, Mary GAMES, Calvert Co., by Rev. Francis LAUDER, per Scharf Papers. [Nath. was abbreviated in the record.] I Googled your EASTMAN file, where you also listed 1880 for Vincent's birth, so perhaps that's keeping others from finding the right Vincent. The 1930 database does show a Vincent b. 1870! I don't know whether you are able to update your RootsWeb file, but perhaps you might want to list that Vincent's first wife died before 1825, not 1830, as his second marriage was in Wayne Co., GA, 20 Mar. 1825. You might also want to say that John's wife died after 1880 {more specific than around}, as she was on the 1880 census, Precinct 3, Orange Co., FL: TANNER, John, 66, GA MD NC; wf. Mary, 58, GA GA GA; ch. Henry W., 26; Thomas V., 24; Mollie, 20; Catherine, 18; son N. J., 17; married son Milledge, 28; Milledge's wife Amanda, 24; their children John S., 6; George W., 4; & Della E., 11 mos. [I rearranged John's children into birth order. I don't know why they weren't in order on the FamilySearch database. Did you mean that Mary was born in Charlton Co., GA {not FL}?] Also of Precinct 3, Orange, FL, 1880: TANNER, Wiley, 64, GA MD NC; wf. Elmira, 23 [ ! ], NC NC NC; dau. Caladonia, 1, FL. Other, James PREVATT, 25, FL FL FL. Hillsborough Co., FL, 1880, TANNER: Nathan, 30 {sic}, GA MD SC; wf. Luvina, 30, FL FL FL; ch. b. SC, but his sister's mother was b. GA.] In 1930, Orange Co., FL, the database shows together Henry W, b. ca. 1854, & Beatrice, 1913. How do you pronounce Econlockhatchee River, where John & son Henry had Orange Co., FL, property?
